A June Thursday

Thursday.

It was really cold today.

I had the heater on but still couldn’t seem to warm up.

The sun finally decided to show itself around lunchtime.

My eldest grandson headed back home to his mum today. I wanted him to sleep as long as possible while he was here so he could just relax and enjoy being home.

He’s had a pretty hectic few years away, so it’s been lovely having him around. There’s a chance he might come back tomorrow night with his sisters for a sleepover, which would be nice.

Apart from that, it was a busy day of work, sat with the kids for dinner, then headed home.

I don’t want to be too wishful or read too much into things, but lately I think I’ve seen a few tiny positive changes in my daughter. Nothing dramatic, and maybe it’s too early to tell, but every now and then there are little glimmers of hope that things might be improving, even if only by the smallest amount.

After everything, I’ve learned not to get ahead of myself, but it’s nice to notice those moments when they come along.

Feeling tired tonight.

Came home and straight to bed, chill out and watch Netflix.
