I got up early and went to have my knees X-rayed, then spent a bit of time looking around some shops. After that, I picked up the kids and drove into the city for my granddaughter’s eye appointment.
Once that was done, we had a wander around the shops, bought a book and a toy, and stopped for some lunch before heading back home.
Later, I picked up my eldest grandson, and we all went to my daughter’s house for dinner.
After dinner, my grandson and I came back to my place.
I got his room organised so he would have somewhere comfortable to sleep and moved my study back out into the dining room again.
Now I’m heading off to bed.
It was a lovely day, busy, but full of family, and those are always the best days.
