Weekend arrived

Friday.

My favourite workday of the week. Busy from start to finish today, and full of complaints and problem-solving, but productive nonetheless.

Finished all the VCAT documents and uploaded everything, which feels like a huge weight off my shoulders.

Also had a tradie come out to quote for the roof repairs, repointing on the ridge capping, plus the valley iron and Stormseal work , I approved it all.

Hopefully that will be done within the next month or so.

Now it’s just a matter of saving hard over the next few weeks and being very, very thrifty.

One step at a time.

Tonight already feels like the weekend already.

Sat with the kids, cooked dinner, and now me and the cat are just watching TV and relaxing.

After a long week, the quiet feels peaceful and relaxing.
